Taste of Turnip Day 2026

Unable to hold a live festival in 2020 due to Covid-19, a new tradition took root ~ A Taste of Turnip Day. Proving it will take more than a global pandemic to squash our Eastham Turnip, local chefs rose to the challenge and whipped up delectable turnip fare on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This culinary event was tremendously successful.

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, local chefs and restaurateurs will be flexing their culinary muscles and creating delectable dishes featuring that ever-so-sweet Eastham Turnip. These dishes will range from soups to side dishes, turnip entrées to turnip desserts! Support our local eateries by ordering turnip fare and be amazed by this versatile root vegetable ~ the pride and joy of Eastham!

This year’s Taste of Turnip Menu will be posted in November. Check out last year’s offerings and you will see that turnip enthusiasts ate their way across town, from breakfast to dinner. What will this year’s chefs whip up to tantalize our turnip taste buds? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
