ANNOUNCING THE ENORMOUS TURNIP CONTEST WINNERS !!! The enormous turnip at the library, donated by Judy Scanlon and Lake Farm Gardens in Orleans, weighed in at 19 lbs 2 oz. Koby Caplan, a visitor from New York City, guessed the exact weight of this massive tuber!
The enormous turnip at the Chapel in the Pines, donated by Josh Schiff and Chatham Bars Inn Farm in Brewster, weighed in at 9 lbs 4 oz. The winner of the contest was Richard Wheeler from Harwich who submitted the closest guess without going over ~ 8 lbs. 14 oz.
